  Traditional laboratories commonly face three major pain points: specialized operations rely heavily on engineer experience, repetitive tasks are time-consuming and labor-intensive; manual recording is prone to errors and difficult to trace; project cycles are limited by human working hours, constraining efficiency and safety.

The answer provided by the SSAM Smart Lab is: a systematic intelligent transformation, reshaping industry paradigms for efficiency, precision, and safety

  Supported by three core components—"Smart Sample Preparation, Intelligent Transfer, and Intelligent Detection"—the SSAM Smart Lab achieves a fully unmanned, closed-loop process from sample preparation and precise aliquoting to intelligent detection and automatic cleaning. Operating 24/7, it boosts testing efficiency by over 15  times. The self-developed PCS intelligent control system enables full-process data traceability, coupled with a comprehensive chain of proactive safety barriers, establishing a new safety benchmark of "zero contact, zero hazard, zero intervention".

Smart Sample Preparation: Precision & Efficiency

  The SSAM fully automated sample preparation platform ("Unmanned Glovebox") is the world's first fully automated sample preparation system specifically designed for electrolyte R&D. It achieves a fully unmanned closed loop for feeding, weighing, proportioning, and mixing. Equipped with a high-precision collaborative robotic arm and carriers, it delivers powder addition accuracy of 0.2%, pipetting accuracy at ±1%, positioning accuracy precise to ±0.02mm (less than the diameter of a human hair), supports multi-tasking, and offers sample preparation efficiency six times that of manual operation.

  Furthermore, its application has long transcended the electrolyte field, excelling in areas such as food safety, pharmaceutical R&D, and chemical materials. It can stably handle various samples including aqueous solutions, organic solvents, and complex powders, making it a reliable foundational platform for cross-industry intelligent experimentation.

Intelligent Detection: Full-Process Closed Loop

  As the system's intelligent core, the central experimental area leverages PCS system, integrating smart hardware, sensing control, and logistics networks to achieve one-stop, fully automated "sample-in, report-out" detection.

  This area encompasses three sections: The intelligent sample aliquoting section performs sample pre-treatment via devices like the GC/IC aliquoting station and five-parameter routine aliquoting station. The precision detection section can automatically conduct full-item tests including GC, IC, acidity, moisture, ICP, etc., covering automated detection of both macroscopic physical properties and microscopic component content of samples, fundamentally enhancing experimental quality and efficiency. The green processing section handles waste liquid harmless treatment and automatic cleaning, baking, turnover, and storage of vessels, eliminating risks of cross-contamination and improper waste handling at the source.

Intelligent Transfer: Activating Momentum

  The AGV transfer system efficiently connects the sample preparation platform and the central experimental area. it is the core hub for efficient, precise, and safe laboratory workflow.

  The SSAM AGV is equipped with a high-performance drive system, achieving an end movement speed of 3 meters/second, repeatable positioning accuracy of ±0.02mm, and a command response time of just 1 millisecond. Notably, its robotic arm has obtained the industry's first EU ATEX explosion-proof certification, using internationally top-tier safety standards to mitigate risks during the transfer of hazardous samples, providing solid assurance for the laboratory's 24/7 uninterrupted operation.
