On June 29, 2026, the SSAM Smart Modular Equipment and Ancillary Products R&D and Production Base Project broke ground in Qidu Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou. The ceremony was attended by Shen Weijiang, Standing Committee Member and Executive Deputy District Head of Wujiang District, Xia Guoqiang, Party Secretary of Qidu Town, Xu Yuanfeng, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Qidu Town, and Chen Shengjun, Executive Vice President of SSAM.
